Modern attitude or heading in a classic cutout
The G5 drops into a standard 3-1/8″ hole so many steam-gauge panels can move to glass without a full panel rebuild. Configure it as an attitude indicator or as a DG/HSI depending on the approved installation.
Backup power when the bus fails
A typical attitude install includes a backup battery so the display remains available during electrical-bus loss — a common reason owners choose G5 as primary or standby.
Built for mixed panels
Pairs with Garmin navigators and selected autopilots when the airframe and STC allow, so it can sit beside a GTN Xi, GNX, or remaining analog instruments.
