Capabilities

How pilots use it

One instrument, several roles

Configure the GI 275 as an ADI, HSI, engine display, or other approved functions — a flexible path when owners want glass without committing to a full-width PFD yet.

Situational awareness in a familiar hole

Internal ADAHRS and backup battery on typical ADI/HSI installs keep the instrument useful when the electrical bus is not.

Works in mixed panels

Often lives beside a GTN Xi or GNX navigator while analog instruments remain elsewhere in the panel until a later phase.

Typical install notes

  • Standard 3-1/8″ cutout; several software configurations.
  • Internal ADAHRS and backup battery on typical ADI/HSI installs.
  • Can sit in a mixed panel with GTN Xi, GNX, or remaining analog instruments.
  • Final function set is determined by the aircraft, STC, and shop work order — not by a stock SKU.

Used as a primary flight instrument, standby, or engine display in certified and experimental aircraft, depending on the approved configuration.
